Pennies for Patients

FCJH will be collecting spare change during the month of February for our Pennies for Patients campaign. This campaign benefits the Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Indiana. Our school goal is $2,000! The SOAR that collects the most money will win a donut party! We all have spare change, BRING IT IN! Student council will also be selling carnations this week. Bring your money, and buy a friend a flower. Flowers will be delivered on Valentine's Day! All proceeds benefit Pennies for Patients. Pennies for Patients spirit week will take place February 19th-22nd. It will be a dollar a day to participate. Money will be collected during your SOAR class. The days are as follows: Tuesday: IU/Purdue Day (wear your team colors for the big game!) Wednesday: USA Day Thursday: Hawaiian Day Friday: PJ day The kids count on us! Don't let them down!

FCJH presents Cinderella!

Tickets for Cinderella, our school musical, will be on sale from Monday, February 25th to Friday, March 1st ...BEFORE 1st PERIOD in the FCJH bookstore. There will be 2 shows on Friday, March 1st. The first show time is right after school at 3:15 and the 2nd show will be at 7 pm that evening. Be sure to purchase your tickets before 1st period in our bookstore beginning Monday, February 25th. Tickets are only $5 for each show. You won't want to miss this year's musical production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella!

FCA Club

FCA Club will meet every Tuesday morning at 6:45am. Please come and join us for fun games, donuts and muffins, and a special message lead by some of your very own high school students. If you have any questions please go see Mrs. Hauser in room 120. We hope to see you there!

Performing Arts Academy Present by Indiana Black Expo

The Indiana Black Expo recently launched its Performing Arts Academy, which is an after school and Saturday program for youth ages 13-19. The PAA offers classes in music production, dance, videography, photography, and acting. The PAA is designed to empower students to do well in school and to demonstrate positive behavior. If interested please pick up an application form in the main or guidance offices. Orientation will take place on Satuday February 16th at the IBE headquarters. Tri Kappa Photography Contest!

It is time for the annual Trip Kappa Contest. This contest is open to all junior high and intermediate students in the HSE district. Students interested in taking part in this year's contest can see Mr. Sturges for information. There will be one photography club meeting on Tuesday, March 5, from 3-4pm, to discuss the contest and take time for pictures. See Mr. Sturges with questions.

HSE Volleyball Call Out Meeting

HSE Volleyball Call out meeting for Freshman Players and Parents planning on attending Hamilton Southeastern next Fall. It will be Thursday February 21st at 3:45 at HSE High School in the Royal Den. Information on conditioning and summer schedule will be available.

8th Grade Girls Basketball Team defeats Anderson Highland

Congratulations to the Girls 8th Grade basketball team. The Lady Falcons won a hard fought game against Anderson Highland. The final score Falcons 34 Anderson Highland 21. Jazmine Young led the Falcons in scoring with 15 points followed by Lauren Stewart with 12 points. Special thanks to the Fall Creek band for making it a festive evening. Join us tonight as the Falcons take on Franklin Middle School!

7th Grade Girls Basketball A Team Remains Undefeated

‪@FCJHAthletics FCJH 7th Grade Girls B-ball A Team beat Highlands 59-20 Wednesday night. Talia Harris led the way with the hot hand scoring 24 pts. Joirdyn Smith added 10 pts. Kate Thomas and Morgan Blake each had 6 pts. Jenna Chase had 2 pts and added 6 rebounds. Lady Falcons improve to 12-0. Elaina Constantine added pts and 5 rebounds.
