NEW Reusable containers!

HSE Schools Food Service has launched a Green Initiative. We are using REUSABLE BOWLS, for fruits,hot and cold veggies. We are no longer using ANY styrofoam or plastic that is not RECYCLABLE or BIODEGRADABLE! Please place the REUSABLE BOWL in the tub next to your tray return (look for the sign). If your REUSABLE BOWL came with a lid, please put THE LID ONLY in the GREEN RECYCLE trash bins.

The Music Department is proud to present our second annual school wide talent show. The talent show auditions are open to all interested 7th and 8th grade students. Acts could include singing, dancing, playing an instrument, poetry, dramatic reenactment and more! Acts can be solo or groups. The date of the talent show is Thursday 11/14/19. The cost for spectators is $5 and is open to the student body, family, and friends. It will take place after school on last about an hour and a half. Acts will audition in front of a group of judges on one of the two dates listed below. From the auditions, the top ten acts will be selected to appear in the talent show. All of the details regarding audition requirements will be included in the audition packet that will be handed out at the call out meeting. Here are some important dates for those who might be interested in auditioning. Call Out Meeting During SOAR - Wednesday 9/25/19 - Student’s must have their agenda signed by a Music Teacher to attend Talent Show Auditions Form Deadline - Friday 10/25/19 Auditions - Wednesday 10/30/19 after school  OR  Thursday 10/31/19 after school Results Posted - Friday 11/1/19 Dress Rehearsal - Tuesday 11/12/19 3-4:30pm TALENT SHOW - Thursday 11/14/19 3-4:30pm Cost is $5 for spectators More detailed information will be handed out at the call out meeting on 9/25/19. Academics/Guidance News

Free Math Tutoring

Free Math Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 AM for all 7th and 8th grade students. Students should be in the cafeteria by 7 AM, and Ms. Kornmann will get you for free math tutoring.

English Help Available

English tutoring will be available on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7 am. Please meet in the cafe and a teacher will be there to greet you!

Club Information

Campus Life

Campus Life is a club that meets every Thursday In the aux gym. Come play fun games, have good conversations, and learn how to deal with issues that we face every day from a Biblical perspective….oh, and there’s donuts! All are welcome, no need to sign up, come once a week or once a month.

Junior Black Student Union

The callout meeting for the FCJH Junior Black Student Union is on Tuesday, September 17 afterschool in the library. All students are welcome See Ms Distler for details.
