Fall Creek Junior High operates using Block Scheduling. Block Scheduling means that students will have fewer classes per day, but the subjects will be on a rotation.
The days are split between:
- 7-period days. (students attend every class for a shorter period of time). FCJ will operate most Mondays using a 7-period day.
- Blue days (students will visit periods 1,3,5, and 7)
- Silver days (students will visit periods homeroom, 2, 4, 6, and SOAR). SOAR is a period of time where kids can get their homework done, sign out to meet with other teachers for help and other various activities.
